Introduction: Contestant #3
Im so happy to be joining in the journey to go from fat to phat! I was also the kind of person that never had to think about her weight. Even after two kids, my body snapped back into shape without effort. Then I had baby #3, developed an autoimmune disorder that required 6 months of high dose prednisone and now here I am.
I am 32, and I'm going on a diet for the first time in my life. It's a bit of a problem because I love food and enjoy high calorie choices. I just signed up for weight watchers and I really think I can do this. It is a little frustrating because I'm still figuring out the magical number of points to eat to start dropping lbs. Here is a quick rundown of the last three weeks:
2/20/2012: 179.3
2/27/2012: 181.5
3/5/2012: 180.00
After three weeks, I've basically not budged in my weight loss. My goal is to weigh 165 in time for swimsuit season. That's three solid months...5 lbs per month...1 lb and change per week.
WW gives me 33 points per day plus 49 weekly points. I also ear activity points...basically 1 point per 10 minutes of vigorous exercise. I judge vigorous as not being able to talk comfortably while exercising. I joined the YMCA so I will be blogging about my experiences with classes and such.
I will be posting my "before" pic soon!

You forgot to mention that you are also 6'3. That's tall for a girl so 165 is skinny for you. Where as for me it's chubs!!
